Did You Miss #BlerdHistoryMonth at SYFY Wire?

It’s pretty clear that Black History this month needs a do-over. And I’m here to help. Check out this series that myself and my The Radical Geeks  co-host Angélique Roché did for SYFY in February. The 3-part series Blerd History Month Lessons aired weekly for 3 weeks in February. The first video is about Afrofuturism, where we cover some of our favorite movies like Brown Girl Begins and amazing authors like N.K. Jemisin. In the second installment we talk about Comics and Superheroes like Black Lightning, indie comics like Livewire and E.X.O. The Legend of Wale Williams. And in the final video we fangirl over some of our favorite black actors that have made a huge impact on the geek space, Like John Boyega, Sonequa MArtin-Green, Cree Summer and Jada Pinkett-Smith. Watch all three videos below and comment with who your favorites are!
