At least once a month, someone asks me if I know any “Black women artists” and I’m always dumbfounded by the question because there are SO MANY! So, I’ve created this list as a reference (and as a source that I can send to the next person who asks me that question). All of the Black women on this list are either comic book creators, cover artists, concept artists or have contributed art to animation.
