About the Show

A talk show destination for Black nerd culture to discuss genre topics through a BIPOC lens and to introduce viewers to innovators in geek culture that are not well known. Every week, Karama Horne (a.k.a “theblerdgurl”) will talk movies, gaming, comics, and superheroes from both a fan as well as an industry perspective from the viewpoint of marginalized and underrepresented voices. The two-hour show will feature co-hosts from all corners of geekdom as well as celebrity actors, directors, writers and producers who are working with the genre space.

Season 2 is coming!

This season, the show will be on for two hours from 8pmET-10pmET! Plus, Karama won't be alone! There will be an amazing rotating crew of co-hosts on the show to hang with her for the first hour to talk about everything their geeking out over that week.

The second hour will be just like S1 where Karama chats with a weekly celebrity (or someone she thinks should be famous by now!)
