Netflix dropped its trailer for season 5 of Black Mirror and showed some familiar faces. Anthony Mackie (Falcon, from Avengers: Endgame), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta from Aquaman and Us) and Nicole Beharie, our beloved Abbie Mills from Sleepy Hollow. I, for one, am really excited to see Beharie back acting again. None of us have fully recovered from how she got killed off of SH. (Co-Star Orlando Jones has some details on that btw.)

season 5 of Black Mirror is only giving us 3 episodes, but I’m assuming that’s because since the effects-heavy show boasts such a high quality, it tends to take longer to produce in post. Fewer shows could mean more seasons more often. Show creator Charlie Brooker and executive producer Annabel Jones are sticking to a formula that works. Outer Limits/Twilight Zone-level writing, with a stellar international cast. Joining Abdul-Mateen II, Mackie and Beharie are Miley Cyrus, Topher Grace, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport and Ludi Lin.

Season 5 of Black Mirror premieres on June 5, 2019
